As the Asiana Grocer doors open for business and TSI Food become part of the food retailing business community, we discovered that other food retailers including large supermarket chains were also interested in procuring Asian speciality products amidst a paucity of wholesale food distributors specialising in this segment. We found that other food retailers also had the same challenges that Asiana Grocer had in ensuring product quality, variety, attractive pricing and speedy delivery. Having solved these challenges for Asiana Grocer puts TSI in a credible sweet spot to become a wholesale food distributor who can solve these same challenges and thereby provide solutions to other food retailers especially large supermarket chains that thrive on variety and low prices. With our proven expertise in F&B importation and international logistics to support our own food retailing business through Asiana Grocer, TSI was quickly able to grow in the wholesale food distribution business by winning the confidence of other food retailers to put our distributed products on their store shelves. As we grew and secured retail shelf space for international F&B products at supermarkets across Saudi Arabia, we eventually also won an exclusive mandate to distribute for a reputable local F&B brand, which entrenches TSI Food as a successful wholesale food distributor of both international and local F&B products.

Our success with TSI Food's retailing and distribution subdivisions led us to investigate yet another opportunity to be of valuable service to the F&B market, namely in the speciality Asian restaurant services business. We tuned in to the food dining customer's challenges in finding value-for-money, high quality restaurant-prepared food with good service, and we quickly recognized that getting the right people is key to the restaurant services business. Assembling the finest chefs and restaurant personnel and capitalizing on our food raw material sourcing capabilities within our food retailing and food distribution subdivisions, the TSI Food restaurant services subdivision was established under the MyMakan restaurant brand. MyMakan soon became a hit with both the Asian community as well as the broader Saudi Arabian local community, and as it expanded to two major cities in Saudi Arabia, it got listed among the top 10 favourite Asian food restaurants in the country. With the support of our clients and partners, the restaurant services business has become a great success, with which, TSI Food is now proudly serving the entire value chain in the F&B industry from the upstream food manufacturers and brand owners to the downstream food retailers and F&B end-consumers in our role as wholesale food distributor, food retailer and restaurant service provider.
